Kindergarten registration in the Forest Hills School District begins in March.
Dates and times for each elementary building are:
• Ayer – Registration 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 4, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 5 (Parent(s) only); Screening held in August before school starts.
• Maddux – Registration 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 4, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, March 5 (Parent(s) only); Screening held in August.
• Mercer - Registration 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 4, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, March 5 (Parent(s) only); Parent Information Meeting is 7 p.m. Thursday, April 29; Screening held August before school starts.
• Sherwood – Registration 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 4 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, March 5. Parent Information Meeting date to be determined (Parent(s) only); Screening held in August before school starts.
• Summit - Registration 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 4, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, March 5 (Parent(s) only); Screening held in the fall during school.
• Wilson – Registration 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 4, and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, March 5; Parent Information Meeting 7 p.m. Thursday, March 11 (Parent(s) only); Screening held in the September during school.
For registration parent(s) or guardian(s) need to bring: copy of deed, mortgage papers, rental agreement or recent tax bill; child’s original birth certificate and social security card; residential parent’s driver’s license or photo identification and court documents showing legal custody (if applicable). Make the registration process go faster by downloading the forms provided in the gray column on the right-hand side of this page and completing them ahead of time. Please note: Completed physical and immunization records are due the first day of school.
