Imagine waking up one morning to discover that one hundred years had passed since you went to sleep the night before. It is the same the next morning, and the next. What wonders would you see? What extraordinary strangers might you meet?
This is the premise of the classic 1947 musical Brigadoon, which will be appearing out of the Highland mist at Anderson High School on April 25, 26 and 27. The Scottish town of Brigadoon exists for one single day every hundred years. The townspeople still live as they did in 1747, and when a pair of Americans from 1947 stumble into the town square one morning, the clash of cultures is magical.
