Fun third grade learning!

This group of Mercer Elementary Third Grade History Detectives challenged themselves to complete an extra credit local history mission.  Forest Hills retired teacher, Diane Schneider, who volunteers in third grade classrooms every Monday, compiled the History Challenge packet, along with other members of the Anderson Township Historical Society.  Students took the opportunity to explore various sites around Anderson Township, comparing "then" and "now" photographs, observing how things change over time.

Bond Issue Fails

First and foremost we want to express our gratitude to the residents of our community who came out in support of our Needs Based Facilities Master Plan. Additionally, we want to thank the members of Superintendent’s Steering Committee for their work in developing the plan; and Citizens for Forest Hills Schools, led by parent Jennifer Schlosser, and our many volunteers who worked to educate our community about our Needs.

Board Commends Volunteer Darcy Bien mercer volunteer

 

During its April meeting, the Forest Hills Board of Education commended a group of PTA volunteers for their dedication and service to the students of Forest Hills. Recognized from Mercer was Darcy Bien. Joining her for the photo was Principal Scott Gates.
