FH5K - Online Registration Extended to 5 p.m. Today

Summit Marathoners Finish Pig
Summit's small but mighty band of marathoners braved the humidity, crowds, and threatening weather to run the Final Mile of their year-long training program with their teachers on Saturday, May 5th. This was part of the Flying Pig Kids Marathon 26^th Mile. As the students trained, they tracked miles and health in their Hog Log. Next up for the Summit marathoners - the Forest Hills 5k at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 19.

Forest Hills Council of PTAs Ready for 5K
The Forest Hills Council of PTAs showed its enthusiasm for the upcoming Forest Hills 5K by wearing their race shirts to a recent meeting. The third annual 5k is 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 19, and starts and finishes at Nagel Middle School. For information or to register for the race visit http://www.foresthills5k.com/

Kathy Marx Garden Presented
Kathy Marx was all smiles as she, with the help of a few Summit students, cut the ribbon officially dedicating a garden in her honor.

Olympic Day Fun
Forest Hills School District sixth-graders came together for a day of sports and fun during the annual Olympic Day held at Anderson High School. Summit's PTA Volunteers of the Year Honored
Congratulations to Tiffany Heath and Lori Fyffe on their recent recognition by the Forest Hills Board of Education as PTA Volunteers of the Year at Summit. Principal Michele Sulfsted presented Tiffany and Lori for the recognition.
