Forest Hills students earn accolades, showcase ingenuity during Science Fair

Forest Hills student scientists recently displayed their knowledge, creativity and scientific skills during the 2018 Forest Hills Science Fair.
Students in grades one through 12 presented their research and experiments to judges who evaluated students and their projects on the use of scientific method, clarity of expression, originality, creativity and knowledge achieved.
A total of 65 student projects earned blue ribbons, the highest award. In addition, 190 student projects earned second- or third-place ribbons.
Forty-one student projects in grades five through 12 also qualified to participate in the Southwest Ohio Science and Engineering Expo on March 10 at the University of Cincinnati.
Students who earn a superior rating at the Southwest Ohio Expo will be eligible to compete at The Ohio Academy of Science State Science Day at Ohio State University on May 12.
