Elizabeth Barber earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of South Carolina. Currently Vice President of Corporate Development at The F.L. Emmert Company, provider of animal nutrition products and services, she previously provided accounting, marketing, human resources, communications and development services to the company. Barber is active in the local community, serving on the 2014 Forest Hills Superintendent’s Facilities Committee, the 2016 Keep Anderson Safe Committee, the 2016 Anderson Township Comprehensive Planning Committee and currently serves on the Anderson Township Economic Development Committee. She is also a member of the Memorial Hall Board of Trustees. A lifelong resident of Anderson Township, she has three children who attend Forest Hills schools. Current term: 2018-21 (Originally elected in Nov. 2017)


Demetria (Dee Dee) Choice is a 26-year resident of Anderson Township.  A retired educator with 20 years of experience, she has served as a high school principal, university advisor and counselor, and learning academy teacher and director, in addition to serving on numerous education task forces and councils.  She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Rutgers University, her master's degree in student -personnel services from Glassboro State University and her education certifications from Northern Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky. Her previous honors include being named a Cincinnati Enquirer Hometown Hero and receiving the Mayor’s Make Your Mark Award for outstanding leadership in achieving a community vision for education and talent development.   Choice has two children, Tamla and Larry; Larry is a graduate of Turpin High School. *2019 Vice President

Jim Frooman has been a resident of Anderson Township since 1990. He and his wife, Leisa, have four daughters who graduated from Turpin High School. An AV-rated attorney, the highest level of professional excellence in law, Frooman earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Ohio State University and a law degree from the Northern Kentucky University. Currently working with Frost Brown Todd, LLC, he is licensed to practice law in many courts in Ohio, as well as the United States Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court. Frooman has been named one of the top 50 attorneys in Cincinnati and one of the Best Lawyers in America. He has previously served the NKU Salmon P. Chase College of Law Center as the president of the Alumni Association Board of Governors and as a member of the Law Foundation Board of Trustees and the Board of Advisors for Excellence in Advocacy.

A graduate of Turpin High School, Forest Heis studied medicine at the University of Cincinnati and Stanford University and then completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Duke University. He is currently the chairman of the Department of Surgery at St. Elizabeth and St. Luke hospitals.  Also a lifelong resident of Anderson Township, Heis and his wife, Aimee, have four children who attend Forest Hills schools.

After earning his bachelor's degrees in marketing, management and industrial engineering from the University of Cincinnati, Randy Smith worked in marketing at Procter & Gamble for 36 years and retired in 2015 as the policy and legal department manager. He is the founder and a Board member of the Forest Hills Foundation for Education and serves UC as a trustee of the Foundation and the Band Alumni Association. He has also served as president of the Ohio School Boards Association Southwest Region Executive Board, as a member of the OSBA State Board of Trustees and as the Second Congressional District representative to the Federal Relations Network, a group that provides opportunities for school board members to engage with members of Congress. OSBA has recognized Smith more than 10 times with the Award of Achievement for displaying exemplary commitment to learning and leadership, and has also named him a Master Board Member. A graduate of Anderson High School, Smith and his wife, Susan, have two children who graduated from Turpin High School. * 2019 President
