Elizabeth Maier earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of South Carolina. Currently Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at The F.L. Emmert Company, provider of animal nutrition products and services, she previously provided accounting, marketing, human resources, communications and development services to the company. Maier is on the Board of Directors for the American Feed Industry Association in Washington DC.  She is active in the local community, serving on the 2014 Forest Hills Superintendent’s Facilities Committee, the 2016 Keep Anderson Safe Committee, the 2016 Anderson Township Comprehensive Planning Committee, and she currently serves on the Anderson Township Economic Development Committee. Maier is also a member of the Memorial Hall Board of Trustees. A lifelong resident of Anderson Township, Maier and her husband, Travis, have four children. Current term: 2018-21 (Originally elected in Nov. 2017)


Demetria (Dee Dee) Choice is a 26-year resident of Anderson Township.  A retired educator with 20 years of experience, she has served as a high school principal, university advisor and counselor, and learning academy teacher and director, in addition to serving on numerous education task forces and councils.  She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Rutgers University, her master's degree in student -personnel services from Glassboro State University and her education certifications from Northern Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky. Her previous honors include being named a Cincinnati Enquirer Hometown Hero and receiving the Mayor’s Make Your Mark Award for outstanding leadership in achieving a community vision for education and talent development.   Choice has two children, Tamla and Larry; Larry is a graduate of Turpin High School. *2019 Vice President

A graduate of Turpin High School, Forest Heis studied medicine at the University of Cincinnati and Stanford University and then completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Duke University. He is currently the chairman of the Department of Surgery at St. Elizabeth and St. Luke hospitals.  Also a lifelong resident of Anderson Township, Heis and his wife, Aimee, have four children who attend Forest Hills schools. *2020 President

Dr. Leslie Rasmussen earned her doctorate degree in mass communication with a minor in instructional technology and design from The University of Southern Mississippi. She holds a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in communication from Texas State University and Texas A&M University-CC, respectively. Dr. Rasmussen is an award-winning teacher and researcher, and currently works as an Associate Professor of Communication at Xavier University. She has experience in development for two national nonprofit organizations. She previously taught in the Cincinnati Public Library’s Summer Writing Program and regularly works with community partners in the area to provide engaged and high-impact learning for students. She has been named Faculty Member of the Year, PRSA Faculty Member of the Year, Graduate Student Teacher of the Year, and won top ‘Great Ideas for Teaching’ awards, and a variety of research awards throughout her career. She and her husband, Michael, live in Anderson and have two children. Current term: 2020-23 (Originally elected in Nov. 2019)  





Julie Bissinger received her bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Spanish from Grove City College, where she was selected as Woman of the Year in her graduation class. She then attended Temple University Law School, where she was student body president.  Julie has worked as a City of Cincinnati Prosecutor, as the Personnel Director for the Hamilton County Courts, and for the last 17 years as Chief Counsel/Senior Assistant City Solicitor of Labor and Employment for the City of Cincinnati.  Julie primarily represents the City’s Police and Fire Departments.Julie and her husband, Mark, have two children. Luke graduated from Anderson High School in the Class of 2009, and subsequently from Kenyon College in the Class of 2013, where he majored in Economics and played varsity football. Nate graduated from Anderson High School in the Class of 2015, and subsequently from Miami University in the Class of 2019, where he majored in Secondary Education and Theatre. Both Luke and Nate attended Sherwood Elementary and Nagel Middle School.  Julie is a dedicated volunteer to both the Forest Hills School District and the community at large. She is a past president of Forest Hills Council of PTAs and is a long time PTA volunteer, having held many leadership roles. Additionally, Julie has served on the SPCA Board of Trustees, the Boys/Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati Board, and has been active with various other groups, including the Community Chest. Current term:  appointed June 16, 2021 through December 31, 2021 (previously appointed in 2005 and thereafter elected November 2005, serving 13 years)
