PTO

Welcome to Maddux!

The Maddux Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is an active support organization that influences many aspects of the student’s school, home, and community life.  The PTO's fundraising efforts and enrichment activities broaden the experiences of each child who attends Maddux Elementary.   PTO supports the Maddux staff who work diligently to educate and advance our children for the future.  As part of its goal to support the health and welfare of children, PTO works to promote collaboration between parents, schools, and the community at large.

For 2021-2022:

We supplied many classroom resources, including: new ukuleles for music class; books for reading groups; and hands-on learning tools for mathematic measurement. We purchased an electronic display board for the front entrance, suported virtual and in-school enrichment programs and field trips, maintained and enhanced outdoor learning areas and garden spaces, purchased supplies for playground activities, and held fun events for enhanced student experiences.

Join Maddux PTO

It takes a village! Maddux PTO needs your help to maintain our services. Purchasing a membership helps raise money for valuable programming and provides you with access to the school directory. Join PTO via PTBoard.  Membership is $15 per school year, per family & $10 for faculty.

Meetings

Please join PTO at our monthly meetings for beneficial information and learn more about volunteer opportunities. Meetings for 2022-23 are scheduled to be held in the Learning Commons at Maddux. Check out our calendar here for our next meeting date! 

Fundraising

Raising money is easy! You can help by scanning grocery receipts for Box Tops, registering your Kroger Plus card for our Community Rewards, shopping via Amazon Smiles, attend Dine and Donate nights, parent-only events, and participate in our annual Walk-a-thon.
