In response to questions regarding the changes in the Nagel Middle School schedule for 2017-18, FHSD developed a Frequently Asked Questions to help share more information.
Changes were necessary to align the master schedule with the strategic vision aspects of student innovation, collaboration, and exploration of post-high school opportunities. In addition, the schedule changes are intended to balance class sizes and improve special education, intervention, and enrichment services and supports.

For the 2017-18 school year, parents of incoming 7th- through 12th-graders must provide documentation of immunization compliance (on physician letterhead and/or with physician signature) to the student’s school of attendance as soon as possible. Students who have not provided documentation of the Tdap, MCV4 immunization and other required immunizations may not be permitted to attend school until documentation of immunizations has been provided.
