Nagel Middle School offers many extracurricular opportunities to students to empower them to explore a wide variety of interests and develop life skills. Clubs are often added throughout the school year based on student interest. Current offerings include:

Anime Club
A club that meets to discuss anime in and broaden an understanding of Japanese cultural.

Art Club
This club enriches student experiences in the arts through school beautification, an increased knowledge of the arts and exploration the local/greater Cincinnati Arts community.

Book Chat
For all who love to read—this club allows students to discover, share, and read new books!

Bowling Club
Students enjoy bowling while refining their skills. 

Chess Club
Learn and improve chess skills and strategies!

Computer Club
Students can learn and explore the ins and outs of computers and technology!

Destination Imagination
The Destination Imagination program is a fun, hands-on, team-based activity that fosters students’ creativity and curiosity through open-ended academic challenges in science, technology, engineering, math, fine arts and service learning. The program is supported by the Forest Hills Foundation for Education.

Disney Appreciation Club
The Disney Appreciation Club allows students to indulge on their nostalgia while appreciating the creative genius of Walt Disney and the Disney Corporation.

Members are involved in a creative production artistically, technically or performance.

Dr. Who Club
This club is for fans of “Dr. Who”.

EMP.E.G’s (Empowering Education for Girls)
A club for young women at Nagel Middle School that works to support Casa de Paz (House of Peace) Latinas of Domestic Abuse. 

Fashion Club
This club is dedicated to supporting and mentoring students who want to pursue careers in fashion, as well as those with a general interest in fashion.

Graphic Arts Club
Graphic Arts Club offers all students an opportunity to learn about the various details in the screen, design and printing fields. 

Gardening Club
Providing education and promoting the love of gardening, floral design, civic, and environmental responsibility.

Jazz Band
Students learn about all styles of jazz and start the beginning stages of improvisation.

Minecraft Club
This club is for fans of Minecraft and those interested in computer programming.

Photography Club
For students who like to take pictures, learning about lighting or be in pictures.

Racquetball Club
A fitness club for students who are interested in racquetball. All skill levels welcome!

Rock Orchestra
A student orchestra that is not your typical orchestra.

This club introduces and promotes skateboarding activities to students. 

Ski Club
This club introduces and promotes ski activities to students. Ski Club Transportation Fee

Students work with teachers to take pictures and create the layout for the school yearbook.

Young Astronomers
This club is for students who are interested in the solar system, telescopes and space exploration.
