FHSD Announces Inclement Weather Plans 2021-22
The first day of winter will soon be upon us which could bring inclement weather, power outages, hazardous road conditions, and school delays or closings. The Forest Hills School District is working to ensure that our families have timely information regarding school delays or cancellations.
Decisions regarding delays and closings are based on concern for the safety of students, families and staff. When schools are delayed or closed, parents will receive a phone call on the phone number you have provided to us. If your phone number has recently changed, please notify your child’s school. Closings and delays will also be communicated on television, radio, the district’s website, Facebook page, Twitter account, and Instagram. Please see the attached chart for how delays and closings will affect students and transportation.
