THS and AHS celebrate high rankings in Cincinnati and Ohio
Turpin High School and Anderson High School have once again placed high in the U.S. News and World Report rankings for best high schools in Ohio and the Cincinnati area. In the newly released 2022 rankings, Turpin High School has cracked the Top 10 in Ohio which continues its year-over-year improvements. THS was ranked No. 15 in Ohio in 2019, No. 14 in 2020, No. 12 in 2021 and No. 10 in 2022.
Both schools are also ranked very high among high schools in the Greater Cincinnati Area. THS comes in at No. 5 and and AHS at No. 11.
U.S. News and World Report says of 874 high schools in Ohio, 750 made its final list which ranks AHS as the 37th best high school in the state.
The rankings are based on college readiness, state assessment proficiency, state assessment performance, underserved student performance, breadth of college curriculum and graduation rate. You can learn more about the rankings here and can find the list of Ohio’s top high schools here.
