FHSD Introduces New Mental Health Partners for the 2025-2026 School Year
FHSD Introduces New Mental Health Partners for the 2025-2026 School Year

After a detailed and extensive search and interview process, Forest Hills School District is pleased to share that it has selected two new mental health partners to provide school-based therapy services to students. Necco will be partnering with FHSD to serve students in all six elementary schools, and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center will serve students at Nagel Middle School and Anderson and Turpin High Schools.
These new partnerships will be in effect for the 2025-2026 school year, and FHSD believes these organizations will help improve the continuum of mental health support available to students and better respond to unique needs across different grade levels. Any families who currently receive school-based therapy services will receive additional communication about the upcoming transition.
Additionally, both school-based therapy partners are now ready to begin receiving referrals for the upcoming school year. This will enable Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Necco to make the necessary preparations to begin a smooth transition of services in August 2025.
Any parent or guardian who believes their child could benefit from these supportive services is encouraged to use the appropriate link(s) below to submit a referral.

These efforts are intended to increase overall access to care, which was identified by students, families and staff members as a top priority in the needs assessment conducted in partnership with MindPeace. FHSD partners with MindPeace to evaluate and improve our systems of wellness, and the local mental health advocacy organization has assisted the district in our search for new providers.
As a reminder, the school-based mental health services follow an open referral model that requires the approval and involvement of a parent or guardian for a student to participate. Families who receive school-based services, provided by the mental health partner, utilize their personal health insurance coverage to pay for treatment.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to Mr. Ali Moore, Director of Student Services, by emailing alimoore@foresthills.edu. FHSD thanks all parents and guardians for being strong partners as we continue to support the well-being of every student.
