ParentSquare
FHSD uses ParentSquare as our primary platform for school and district communication. Families receive messages through email, app, voice or text, helping everyone stay informed and involved. ParentSquare is used to share everything from weekly building newsletters to critical emergency alerts.
An account is automatically created for each parent or guardian using the contact information provided in Final Forms. We encourage you to activate your account to download the free mobile app, set your language preferences and choose how and when you’d like to receive messages.
What you can do with ParentSquare:
- Receive updates from your school via email, app or text notification
- Choose to get posts in real time as they are shared or bundled in a daily digest
- View posts, photos, calendars and important announcements
- Communicate in your preferred language with automatic translation
- Send direct messages to teachers and staff

How Do I Log In to ParentSquare?
Visit www.parentsquare.com/signin and use the contact information you entered in Final Forms to register your account.

How Do I Update My Contact Information?
Parents and guardians should visit Final Forms to make changes to their contact information. There are several digital systems in FHSD that rely on this information, so in order to ensure it is accurate across all areas you will need to make changes directly in Final Forms. You can access the FHSD Final Forms site here.
How Do I Download the App?
Apple device users can find a link to download ParentSquare on the App Store here. The app is also available on the Google Play store here.
How Do I Update My Notification Preferences?
Please see a more detailed explanation about the different notification settings in the ParentSquare Family One-Stop Shop. There are several things to consider before making any changes to your settings.
On a Web Browser:
- From Home, click your name and select Manage Account.
- Click Notification Settings.
- Choose your preferred Notification Settings for General Announcements & Messages (Off, Instant or Digest). Once you've made selections, future messaging will send based on your preferences. Do not turn off School Alerts, as these are used for safety messages and transportation updates.
On the Mobile App:
- From the home screen tap the triple bar menu at top left.
- Select Account and then Notifications.
- Select how you want to be notified at each school.
- Turn OFF Custom Settings to use the same notification settings for all schools.
- Turn ON Custom Settings to set different notifications at each school.
- Toggle on or off to receive Email, Text and/or App Notifications.
- Select Instant or Digest for each mode.
My Student Uses StudentSquare, Where Can I Find More Information?
Students at the middle and high school levels might use StudentSquare to receive communication from their principals, teachers, coaches and club advisors. StudentSquare replaced the Remind App at the start of the 2025-2026 school year.

I’m a Staff Member. How Can I Get Help?
Staff members who need assistance using ParentSquare to communicate with students or families can find a variety of resources in The Forest (staff intranet) in a dedicated ParentSquare folder. Click here to access those resources (you must be logged in to your FHSD Google account to view the documents.
