Each school in Forest Hills School District has a dedicated phone line and email address for families to report absences during the school year. When reporting an absence, please share:

Parent/guardian name
Student name
Classroom teacher name (for elementary students)
The date(s) of the absence
Reason for absence

Prior to or upon returning from an absence, a note from a parent or guardian must be provided. If contact is not made and/or a note is not provided, the absence will be marked “unexcused.”
