Transportation

The Forest Hills School District Transportation Department is proud to be a part of each student’s school experience. The department is deeply committed to the safety of each child in the community. 

FHSD operates one of the largest transportation systems in the area, which involves:

• A fleet of 70 buses
• More than 3,500 students
• More than 4,300 miles of travel collectively each day
• Approximately 800,000 miles of travel per year (including field trips and extracurricular activities)

Transportation is provided to 38 public and private schools with 57 routes and 331 runs daily.
