FHSD Receives Auditor of State Award for Clean Audit Reports
Forest Hills School District has once again been recognized for having a “clean” audit report with the Auditor of State Award. A representative from the office of Ohio Auditor of State, Keith Faber, presented the award to the FHSD Treasurer’s Department on March 19 after award recipients were announced at the end of February. Fewer than 13% of all Ohio entities receive this recognition.
“Forest Hills School District remains committed to being strong stewards of taxpayer dollars and maintaining accurate, transparent financial records,” said Treasurer Alana Cropper. “We hope our families and community members continue to take pride in this achievement and in the district’s long-standing record of fiscal responsibility.”
This Auditor of State Award reflects an independent audit of FHSD finances during the 2024-2025 school year, which is the district’s 2025 fiscal year.
The Auditor’s office presents the award to local governments and school districts upon the completion of a financial audit. Entities that receive the award meet certain criteria of a “clean” audit report. You can find the list of criteria and more information in this press release from the Auditor of State.
