Community Conversation: What’s Next for Beech Acres Expansion?

The Anderson Park District, Anderson Township Government and Forest Hills School District are collaborating on a Community Engagement Study to explore future possibilities for approximately 23 acres of land adjacent to Beech Acres Park. This area includes the recently acquired 17-acre parcel and the 6-acre RecPlex site—both formerly part of the Beech Acres Parenting Center.

The steering committee hired Brandstetter Carroll Inc. to lead the process of community engagement which includes citizen satisfaction surveys, park and recreation surveys, focus groups, open houses and stakeholder interviews.

This joint effort seeks valuable input from Anderson Township residents on how the space can best serve the community’s needs now and in the future.

Residents are encouraged to attend and share their thoughts on current facilities and programs, as well as their hopes and ideas for future developments.
