The All In Food Drive Returns: Here’s How to Participate!

The Forest Hills Council’s All In Food Drive returns to all nine FHSD schools for another year to support IPM Food Pantry. The drive will run October 14-21, collecting non-perishable items to help local families in need. This is the largest food drive for IPM and comes at a critical time of year when needs increase due to back to school and winter holidays.

Some of the biggest needs this year include:

  • Personal care items
  • Cereal
  • Pasta/pasta meals
  • Any non-perishable
  • Peanut butter

*No glass jars

The All In Food Drive is a wonderful opportunity to lead by example and positively impact our community. Thank you to the Forest Hills Council for organizing this effort to support our neighbors!

Anderson High School plays a special role in the All-In Food Drive. They conduct a month-long collection that culminates with the Freshmen Day of Service. Student volunteers will be at the Anderson Kroger all day on Saturdays and Sundays, starting October 4, to collect groceries and monetary donations. The students will have a specific shopping list for customers to use while purchasing items and then will collect those items as customers leave the store.

Nagel Middle School will be collecting their donations between October 9-17 with an extra incentive for 8th graders to bring their donations into school on October 17th for Impact Day. The goal is to have such an impact that they can fill the back of Mr. Robinson’s truck!

How to Get Involved

Students and families are encouraged to help support this initiative if they are able. They can support in any of the following methods:

  • Bring donations into school
  • Shop at Kroger on the weekends and donate money or shop for items to give to volunteers
  • Order from the Amazon Wish List (items will be delivered to AHS for Freshmen Day of Service)

Please note that some FHSD schools are asking for specific items, as this will help diversify the donations to IPM. You can find this information in school newsletters or other school communications.

Any support given to the All In Food Drive is much appreciated and valued!
