This website is designed to be fully compliant with The Americans with Disabilities Act and is mobile-responsive, making it easy for all members of the public to access district policies and related information.

Understanding the Landing Page

The FHSD landing page serves as a central hub of information. This page displays both the active FHSD Board Policy Manual and related Administrative Guidelines that support those policies.

Navigating Content

• Browsing: Within a book, use the left-hand navigation section menu to quickly access material in specific sections (e.g., Bylaws, 0000s) and select individual items to view content.
• Details: Individual document pages display the core text. Revision and adoption dates can be found at the top of each document. Legal and statutory citations are found at the bottom of the document.
• Search Feature: Within a book, you can use the search bar at the top of the page to look for specific words or topics. By putting quotation marks around a search phrase, you can limit the search to policies that only contain those words in that specific order to improve search accuracy.
• Full PDF Policy Book: Located at the bottom of the left-hand navigation section within a book is a link to open a "full book PDF." This allows you to see the current active policy book in PDF format, with a table of contents that you can navigate by clicking policy names to move to that section of the document. By clicking "contents" in the top right of policy pages, you can navigate back to the table of contents section of the PDF document.
