Every day, across Forest Hills, teachers and staff members make a difference in ways big and small. Seeds of Inspiration celebrates the people whose creativity, commitment and care help our students, colleagues and school community grow and thrive.

Seeds of Inspiration is a staff recognition program that celebrates the individuals who make a meaningful difference through innovation, student support and a commitment to building a positive culture. 

Three staff members are honored each month from September-April, one for each of our three Seeds of Inspiration categories:

• Culture Builder
• Innovator
• Student Champion

Like seeds that grow into something greater, these staff members inspire others, strengthen our schools and help create opportunities for students and colleagues to thrive.

Culture Builder

Seeds of Inspiration: Culture Builder represents a staff member who makes FHSD a better place through their positive attitude, strong relationships and commitment to creating a welcoming and supportive environment. This person:

• Brings people together
• Celebrates successes and encourages others
• Helps build a culture where students, families and colleagues feel connected, valued and inspired

Innovator

Seeds of Inspiration: Innovator represents a staff member who thinks creatively, challenges the status quo and finds new ways to make a positive impact on students, colleagues or the school community. This person:

• Looks beyond the regular and routine
• Approaches work, challenges and relationships with fresh ideas and new perspectives
• Turns creative thinking into meaningful opportunities, improvements or solutions
