College and Career Night Sets Students Up for Future Success

Forest Hills School District will host its annual College and Career Night on Monday, September 29, 2025. Students and families will be able to visit with representatives from more than 100 colleges, universities, businesses, trades and related organizations. The fair will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Nagel Middle School with additional programming beginning earlier in the evening.
One of the five key priorities of the FHSD Strategic Plan is to prepare future-ready graduates. This annual event provides students an opportunity to explore different areas of interest, learn about important steps in the post-graduation process and allows them to take more ownership over their future plans. FHSD believes programs like this are an important and effective way to live up to the District’s vision of striving to ensure success for all students.
Visitors are invited to attend informational sessions about specific post-graduation topics, including college admissions, financial aid and career planning prior to the start of the fair. The full schedule of events can be found below.

College and Career Night is a fantastic opportunity for students and families to gather more information about plans for post-graduation from FHSD high schools. This can be a challenging time for many students to prepare for. The evening is designed to support students and families during their decision-making process and help make the transition from high school to post-graduation a little easier. They can ask questions and learn more about organizations they may be considering.
Students are able to register for the event at StriveFair.com, which will allow them to more easily connect with and gather information from representatives at the fair. During the fair, colleges will scan students' barcodes to send students more information about their schools. The day after the fair, students will receive a report with information on the colleges they visited at the fair.
